Recently on April 23rd, a friend of mine along with her friend were brutally attacked with a baseball bat and robbed on the 1800 block of North Damen in Chicago IL. Both women were beaten unconscious and taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital, then later transferred to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where they remain is serious and critical condition.
This saturday, May 8th starting at 7pm, there will be a benefit held in her honor to raise money to help Stacy Jurich, one of the victims of this crime. The benefit will be held at Cans Bar and Canteen located at 1640 North Damen Avenue, Chicago IL 60622. All proceeds will go towards Stacy's trust fund to pay for medical expenses.
