Aging wine in barrels is not a new thing. In fact I'd wager a a bet every wine drinker here has enjoyed a nice oaked Chardonay at one point or another.
Aging wine in Whiskey barrels though? Wow.
Of course I wouldn't be writing about it if it hadn'...
